What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers are always welcome!! To offer you the best service that we are renowned for, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment.
For custom clothing appointments, you will receive a one-on-one free consultation to discuss your wardrobe needs, style, budget, and more.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our tailors have worked in the apparel and alteration industry for several decades and have studied at the best schools across the world.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For alterations, each service is a unique price, therefore we cannot give accurate estimates over the phone or online. For custom clothing, our two piece suits start at $1,200 for men, and $1,500 for women. Custom shirting starts at $195/each.
How did you get started in this business?
Aladdin, the owner of Artful Tailoring, learned it as a family trade back in his home country of Syria. There he studied old-world techniques which are used on each garment we create. Artful Tailoring was opened in 1999 and has expanded to two locations in the Phoenix valley.

Everyone! From children, military, brides, celebrities, and more.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently created a ladies Tiffany's blue velvet jacket for a very special client. The look on her face made all of the work worth it! Helping someone look and feel their best is our ultimate goal.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
A high-quality tailor is not easy to find. Make sure you do thorough research (especially on prices) and ask plenty of questions prior to finalizing any service.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
For alterations, have a clear idea of what you would like the end result to be is extremely helpful. A tailor can guide an educate you on how to achieve your desired look.
For custom clothing services, having an ideal style and budget in mind will aid in the consultation process. Also, make sure you allow at least 6 weeks before you book your consultation.
