What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Engaging in conversation to understand needs, timelines, and expectations. I do this preferably via video conferencing and email.
We'll put our heads together and come up with a simple plan of action. We'll meet for portraits. I'll edit them lightly and provide your proofs online for your to view and select. From there you'll choose the products you like, they'll printed and shipped directly to you. Easy-Peazy!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Extensive photography training and design. Previous experience as art director, and director of marketing.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing varies depending on type of photography services requested:
Formal 1 hour portrait session = $450
Headshot = $250
Commercial = Pricing dependent on specifications and use of images.
Event = Pricing dependent on event specifications.
How did you get started in this business?
I thought it sounded fun, creative and lucrative. Hahahaha It is ONLY if you work really, really, really hard at it and love why you are doing it.
I do all of the above; I work my tail off AND love what I do. The customers response to what I deliver is my why. They are overjoyed. It feels like I am delivering a gift to them. And for me, it is a gift to be given the privilege of being chosen as the photographer.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
A professional photographer is engineer, director and artist rolled in to one. They are worth your time and your money. Don’t negotiate if you ind a great one. Just do it. You will be glad that you didn’t go bargain hunting.

What is the purpose for the photo shoot?
what is the end product you desire? Be clear and certain.
