She utilizes different techniques in her arsenal to achieve exactly what you have been looking for and has created her own method called Hi-Ball, My method of Hi-Ball Color creates dimension, texture and movement for a modern sexy vibe. It's a combination of Balayage and Highlights.
After completing several degrees in makeup application and color theory she also trained at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Salon & Academy under the tutelage of Icon and Color Master Annie Humphreys, She then went on to work for Frédéric Fekkai where Frédéric Fekkai himself hired her. She specifically trained in Hand painting under Nancy Braun where she learned the art of Balayage
Janelle has perfected the art of hair coloring and specializes in Low maintenance natural looking hair color that keeps her clients loyal.
Janelle’s keen eye and ability play a critical role in the way she matches a woman’s hair color to her skin tone and eye color. She frequently combines several different shades, she strategically paints lights and shadows in just the right places keeping hair looking natural. This method creates dimension, texture, and movement.
Janelle also offers Brazilian hair straightening. She uses safe, formaldehyde-free products to turn frizzy, unmanageable hair into smooth manageable Beach waves. This revolutionary treatment lasts up to five months.
She welcomes tear sheets or photos for women with specific tastes and she is more than willing to collaborate with her clients creating personalized hair color.
Janelle has worked in Beverly Hills and New York for some of the biggest names in the beauty industry including Vidal Sassoon, Frédéric Fekkai, Juan Juan Beverly Hills and James Kendall Salon. She is currently based at Studio 58 Located in Salon Republic Beverly Hills. This unique experience places her firmly at the top of her field.
