I am a independent hairstylist who serves a variety of hair textures and has a multi-cultural and diverse clientale for cuts, color, blowouts, silkpresses, highlights, keratin smoothing services for texture management and many other hair services. Although I offer services to smooth hair, I have a lot of experience in working with highly textured natural hair for color, cuts and styling. I can help care for your tresses in it's natural state. It's not always necessary for me to straighten super curly/highly textured hair prior to receiving a proper hair cut! I also offer a variety of in-salon Hair and Scalp Treatments from top professional brands like Olaplex, Schwarzkopf, Goldwell and Silkout Thermal Haircare System. Most of these treatments will last for several weeks; even up to 2 months to keep hair healthy and in tip top shape. My goal is the health of ALL hair types!

I love the results....the outcome of anything I create! That's what keeps me motivated in this industry, if the client likes my work, I feel a sense of accomplishment. I also enjoy keeping educated on the latest techniques and products. This industry always has something new to learn and practice; that's what keeps it fun!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I meet new potential customers, I do a mini consult over email (if they found me on social media)...They tell me what they are looking for and I determine if I can meet their requests. We then schedule an appointment, and a deposit must be paid with each booking (this helps to secure their spot) and then I do a in-person consultation. If I feel I can do what they are wanting, then the deposit goes towards their service cost. If I don't proceed with the client, the deposit is refunded to them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am licensed Independent hairstylist. I became licensed in 2005. I am certified in the Silkout Taming System for texture management. I also have an extensive education in professional product knowledge which allows me to make the best recomendations for at-home hair maintenance. I also manage a beauty supply and have done so for nearly 10 years.

I give starting rates as a basis for my pricing. All prices are listed on my website and will vary.
