One of the things I absolutely adore about my work is the opportunity to travel and meet incredible couples from all across the country. Each love story is unique, and it's an absolute privilege to witness and document your destination wedding experience. Whether it's a sandy beach or a picturesque mountain backdrop, I'm ready to embrace the beauty and tell your story through my lens.
But let's rewind a bit and take a peek into how my photography journey began. It all began when my amazing mom introduced me to disposable cameras at a young age. Thanks, Mom! After high school, I decided to purchase my first DSLR camera and begin capturing the energy and essence of live music performances. Those exhilarating moments ignited a fire within me, pushing me to chase my passion for photography.
Now, my goal is simple yet profound – to capture all the best moments of your wedding day and deliver a final product that will make your heart skip a beat. I'm dedicated to providing you with an experience that feels personal and exceptional, because your love story deserves nothing less. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customers can find me at www.katpulse.com & fill out any of my contact forms. They can also email me at [email protected] or call at 631-905-8918. Once we've had our first contact, we set up a 30 minute complementary Zoom call. During this call, this is where I get to know you! I love meeting & getting to know my clients.
During that call we also discuss what type of services you require. Is it a wedding? A family photoshoot? Suprise engagement to your boyfriend/girlfriend? Couples photoshoot? Whatever the service may be, I'm prepared to capture a sweet, fun, & exciting memory that you'll be able to look back on for a lifetime.
The next step is schedling the shoot. When works best for you during my availble hours? Sunrise & sunset are the BEST times to shoot 7 fit perfectly with my editing style which is warm & contrasted. I absolutely love a beautiful beach, park, urban, or woodsy photoshoot. If you have a specific location in mind that you'd like to photograph at, let me know & we will shoot there!
I always tell my clients how excited I am to meet them in person & capture memories for them. Comfort & trust is important when hiring a photographer. When we finally meet at the scheduled shoot, that's where the real fun begins. I'll ask you questions like "Where did you & your boyfriend/girlfriend meet?" or "What's something silly that your mom said recently?". I'll also prompt posing for you & have you interact with eachother by saying something like "Ok Mom & Dad, give your kids a tickle!" or "Whisper an inside joke to your husband/wife."
My goal is to capture the most genuine & authentic smiles.
After the shoot, I get home & start editing. My editing time takes around 3-4 weeks (except for weddings. Editing time varies per package.) to edit photos from the session. I edit warm & contrasted & do basic retouching (Acne, scars).
When I finish editing, I send an online digital gallery to my clients via email & wait for your reaction. I adore seeing your reactions to the finalized photos & it makes me so happy to know that I was able to give you that feeling in that moment.
I also have a print store so you can order wallet photos, canvas's, prints, scrap books, & much more!

How did you get started in this business?
Before I discovered my passion for photography, I was a musician at that point for about 7 years. I had friends who were photographers in the music scene who inspired me to get into photography. October 31st, 2017 was when I bought my first DSLR camera! I started off by photographing bands during their sets. That evolved into photographing portraits & headshots. Over time I started to photograph models, weddings, couples, families, & more.
