What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After making initial contact with a client we like to schedule a phone call to see what exactly the client wants and expects. This call is also an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the clients taste and budget so we can work with them to build a menu and service plan that will be best for their event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner, Janay, is a professionally trained chef graduating with honors from Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco. With over 8 years of specific catering experience, Janay leads a team of highly trained professionals in both front and back of the house roles. At Avocado & Company, we take hospitality very seriously. Our team is here to assist in every aspect of your event, ensuring everything down to the smallest detail is to your unique specifications.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Every event is as unique as the food we serve. There are a variety of factors that go into the final price of an event such as service style, menu, time frame, number of guests, and labor required. We are more than happy to help you figure out what is the best service style for your event and budget. Please factor in other costs such as labor, delivery, service fees and taxes into the overall cost of your event.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with all types of customers from large, multi day corporate conferences to intimate private affairs such as birthday parties and anniversaries. Whether you are having an event for 20 or 200, no event is too big or too small for our team of dedicated professionals to handle.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When searching for a caterer it helps to have as many details as possible figured out. These things include guest count, overall vision of your event, budget, etc. Although our team of professionals is more than happy to help figure out these details with you, the more information you have going into the process, the smoother and more efficient the process will be.
