About
I am a versatile photographer with experience ranging from portraiture to events. I have family and lifestyle experience and am looking forward to getting into weddings! Would love to be considered for future assistance!
You can find my recent work on facebook.com/sessionsbyselena. My site should be done soon!
I have a true passion for people working in customer service for several years and I think it makes my clients comfortable when working with me as they can sense my genuine persona.
I love working and talking with my clients. I have met people from all walks of life and I love hearing their stories to really be able to capture who they are in photos. My favorite moments are the ones captured in between. The natural laughs and candid hugs.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always love to get to know a little about them and their family. Depending on whether it is an event or not, I always offer a 1:1 meet up or phone consultation to make sure expectations are met. I also like to know if there is anything I should be aware of (insecurities, autistic children, etc..)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years of customer experience and a passion for people in general. I do not have formal photography training, but spend a lot of time on YouTube and other tutorial sites.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I have 4 different packages that I offer and within those packages are set or starting prices (Lifestyle, Events, Marketing and Couples). I like to be flexible with options to give more versatility.
How did you get started in this business?
My son :). After he was born, I became "that mom" and took 3000 photos. I loved every minute of it and knew how expensive it could get to want to capture special moments. That is when I decided to turn my hobby into a business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
First time moms, families, high school seniors, elders, children.. I work with everyone.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was fortunate to get to capture a 35th anniversary of a lovely couple. The event was held in their backyard. She was able to finally wear her dream dress and everything about it was perfect.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Get to know the photographer a bit. I have found some are very personable and flexible and others lack big communication. I always make a point to check in with customers from time to time and they really appreciate it.
