What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we start with a fun consultation to decide what direction the client wants to go in and gameplan how to achieve the request. Keeping in mind the clients request as well as providing my professional expertise to come up with a solid idea for execution.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 15 years of experience in the salon environment. Received extensive extension training and several keratin certifications. I WAS BORN TO DO HAIR!!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes each service has a base price and the price is adjusted accordingly per client given length and fullness of hair. More hair depending on the service can require more time ans more product so therefore the price will reflect that. Pricing is discussed PRIOR to service and if additional services are required the additional price will be confirmed before services are rendered.
How did you get started in this business?
I was BORN to do hair, Mom was pregnant with me in hair school and I've always had a LOVE and PASSION for the job. Started as a shampoo assistant and manager and an awesome owner took a chance with me and gave me a trial behind the chair.....I've never turned back since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've services ALL types of ladies...Moms, professionals, athletes, musicians, performers, deceased, bridal, elderly, children, etc. I've serviced clients from ALL walks of life. They make the world go around.I DO NOT DISCRIMINATE FOR ANY REASON!!!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure to look at the artist body of work, and a consultation is always key. Make sure you BOTH are on the same page as far as desired look to be achieved and get a feel for the energy. Make sure your stylist is keeping the integrity of your hair as top priority.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is their desired outcome?? What exactly are you trying to achieve?? What risks are they willing to take to achieve the look and are they open to new ideas??
