I have been in the hair industry for 25 years, my career started off in sunny South Africa where I owned my own salon for 8 years. I immigrated to the USA in 2012 where I continued my passion for hair and keep myself A-cut-above the rest. I am a licensed professional who is always continuing my education. How did you get started in this business?
Ever since I can remember I wanted to be a stylist, this is my dream job. I did a 3 year apprenticeship in South Africa I order to be able to take my Trade Test to be a licences professional.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work women, men and children of all ages.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always look for a stylist that you can connect with.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I suggest looking for pictures of what your hair goals are before coming into the salon so that you have a clear image of what you want.
