What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Full disclosure and informed consent. Asking the right questions to make sure that we are providing our guests with the best service and end product that they’re wanting to receive.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Skip has been doing lash extensions for over 12 years. His certifications include certified Xtreme Lashes Lash Stylist, Advanced Certified in Volumation, Xtreme Lashes Trainer. He also travels the country teaching people how to apply eyelash extensions in a safe and sanitary manner. He was also trained in eyebrow artistry at Privé salon in NYC Sodo district Manhattan in 2006.

How did you get started in this business?
Started as a colorist. Heard about Lashes. Took a training class, and the love and passion for the industry grew from there. Doing hair was not even a thought anymore.

Anywhere from stay at home moms to big celebrities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Volunteering my time to Runway to Hope for events that they do throughout the year. Especially the Fashion Soriee that is put on every year.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your research!!!!! These are you eyes we’re talking about. Many people are not licensed to do eyelash extensions. Ask to see ther license, certifications, and also the products. What brand of lashes do they use? It makes a HUGE difference.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Eyelash extensions are addictive. Are you ready to invest? That means coming in every 2-3 weeks for Relash appointments that are anywhere from 90 mins to 2 hours.
