Lavish & Co. Hair Studio is a brand new state of the art salon just built out for a new space in the heart of the ST. PETERSBURG TYRONE Shopping area. I have practiced in the industry for over 20 years, starting in the Northeast and now in Florida. I have trained with some of the worlds highly recognized icons every year since I have been licensed. I love what I do, so it never seems like work. I enjoy paying it forward and helping other new talented artists beome more successful doing what they love. I enjoy putting a smile on people faces and that allows me to build great relationships throughout my career. I am a certified REDKEN Colorist, Certified HAIRTALK and GREAT LENGTHS Extension specialist, a nail Technician and currently training with Lash Extensions, to add to my belt of tools. I have recieved many awards stating my achievements but the biggest reward has been opening my own salon so that I can have a space to help mentor and grow others. Other than that, I enjoy helping guests achieve a style that not only compliments them but that works with the realities of their commitment and lifestyle.

I love every part of what I do. Starting with looking your best, since thats how you feel and perform your best. The personal interaction I have with people daily, the relationships I build with them through the years and learning more and more about their lives helps me to better service them when it comes to their hair victories and struggles. I love challenges, so the bigger the better. I also love helping others to grow in the industry.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every new guest is welcomed with a beverage and a one on one consultation with their stylist. We go over what their goal is for the visit, what they have done in the past, what they liked or didnt like from the previous experience, what their realistic commitment to a style would be considering time and their beauty budget. We like to create a plan to see what that future entails. Whether it is time or cost, we always want to make sure our guest is comfortable with what they have signed up for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years in the industry, training almost every year at least once in either NYC, Vegas or other parts of the country with Industry Icons that I look up to. I have also acquired numerous certifications for different methods of extension application. Other than hair certifications and experience, I have had the pleasure to mentor others and help them grow.

Our pricing depends on the level of stylist you are working with. We consult with each person to find what beauty budget they are comfortable with so that we can accommodate their requests but keeping them comfortable with what they have budgeted for.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always had a passion for hair and everything beauty. It used to be a hobby but when I realized my true passion was to be in the beauty industry I decided to make it my career. I have had the pleasure of fueling my passion with constant education and being able to pay it forward by educating others.
