About
* Authenticity, Creativity, and Integrity... satisfaction guaranteed.
*I see each photo shoot as a new opportunity and gift, realizing that everyone is unique and desiring slightly different variations of a finished product.
*Understanding my client's needs and desires are the beginning of the creative process for me. However, if a client is not sure, it's always fun for me to help them figure this out:).

My love and passion for photography centers around capturing "moments in time"... the AUTHENTIC (real you) in moments of pose/candor.
After graduating with a Photography degree in the 90's, I've also enjoyed teaching High School Photography and witnessing others fall in love with this powerful art form.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understanding the needs and desires of my clients is critical. Some have very clear and particular goals and others have little idea of what they want. Most people fall in between. This is always one of the first things I try to find out from my clients.
At some point, the shot list and key people involved in the event are shared, along with confirmations on time(s) and location(s).
With new clients, there are also times of general introduction and connection with myself or my assistant (if needed) at the shoot. I'm a big believer in strong/high-quality customer service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated with a degree in Photography
Full-ride scholarship (Kodak)
4 years in Photojournalism
20+ years in Weddings/Portrait/Commercial/Real Estate Photography
High-School Photography Instructor for eight years
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Like people, all shoots are different... that's one of the things I love about this job.
I'm flexible and very reasonable with my prices. The only hard line on expenses is traveling, but even that is considered more of a reimbursement for my time and gas.
How did you get started in this business?
My love for photography has always followed me... until one day in my early 30's it began to "define me" in other's view. Then, it seemed not only to follow me but started going before me, to create what is now a business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Parents/babies, Kids, Couples, Families, Pet owners:), Wealthy, Needy and Hungry, Picky, Not so particular, Funny, Boring, Extraverts, Introverts, Demanding, Casual, Large Groups, Small Groups, Home Owners, Magazines, Newspapers, etc.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Every year, I capture school pictures for a school that has about 300 kids (Middle School to High School ages). This photo shoot took place several weeks ago. I was reminded once again of the JOY i get in bringing out that inner smile in kids... even the older kids who sometimes try to "fake it":).
