Mike Sansone Photography
About
In my work..people are engaged. I focus 90% of the session on expression, and making people comfortable in front of the camera. The lighting is crisp and modern. You will instantly stand out from everyone else in your field who went to the mall for their headshot.
I love being able to change people's self image. More times than I can count, people have told me that they didn't think they could ever take that good of a picture. I think everyone is photogenic..it just takes the right photographer to teach them how.

How did you get started in this business?
I started out as an actor. Photography was a hobby of mine. One of my theatre friends needed headshots for upcoming auditions, and she asked if I would take them for her. I had no idea what I was doing, but I did it. Then I had another friend ask me..and another..and another. Well I decided if I was going to keep doing this..I should know what I am doing. I came across the work of NY headshot photographer Peter Hurley. Through his personal teaching..I now am where I am today.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Headshots for actors and performers. Social media headshots for lawyers, realtors, and corporate professionals. Personal branding images for people who use themselves to advertise their business.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
You aren't just hiring a person with a camera to push a button. You are hiring a professional who you can trust to help you represent everything you are in one picture. You have to choose someone who knows headshots and only headshots.
