Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If meeting in person isnt an option, I like to first, speak with a client and learn what their beauty goal is. This way, I can determine a plan of action needed to get there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry. I work with many different cultures, ethnicities, hair types/lengths, etc.. I am a cosmetologist, with lots of in and out of salon training. I have worked on music videos, commercials, runway/fashion show, corporately, and privately.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is based my skills, experience, and on the location services are provided. It varies depending location.
How did you get started in this business?
I started in 1997 as a 15 year old looking for extra cash. Little did i know that I would also gain an extended family and a passion for the art of beauty.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with celebrities, muscicians, dancers, mothers, bloggers, brides, bridal parties, advertising agencies, modeling agencies, friends, family, and neighbors.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Any and every weddiing. There is something about being a part of a memory that will last forever in someones mind. The bliss, the pure magic that is in the air is nearly palpable.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Take your time. Fine tune the vision of what you want, then find the best pictures and words to convey this to your artist. Spare no detail. Last, and most important, let go of that exact picture and be open to the beautiful interpretation the artist brings. Some of the best work happens when a customer and artist work together and are open to being blown away!
