Classics & Candids Photography
About
The photographic style offered at Classics & Candids is geared towards the bright, colorful, and artistic, for both candid and traditionally posed images. Classics & Candids is located in NW Indiana, serving the local area, as well as the Chicago-land and SW Michigan areas; wedding day services are also available nation-wide.
I take pride and pleasure in all the things concerning my photography; what I enjoy the most are the moments of spontaneous interaction that I'm able to capture, whether it's during special events, or during a family portrait session.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first contact with my clients are always over the phone; during this time, the client and I discuss what they need and what I can do for them. Following this, if all things are agreed upon, the client and I set up a day and time to meet face to face, for paperwork and the like, as well as further discussion on what is needed and offered.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended photography classes for several years, and spent a summer shadowing a pair of wedding photographers with 20+ years experience. Currently, I am furthering my education in the business side of my photography via online tutorials from PPA.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
All prices are available upon request.
How did you get started in this business?
Wedding/Special Event photography pretty much fell into my lap - I had the great fortune of working at a number of weddings my first season, and I quickly learned that there's nothing else I'd rather do.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with brides, and more often than not parents of brides. I also photograph special events, such as quinceaneras and Sweet 16s, so I've worked with young women and their mothers.
What advice would you give a customers looking to hire a vendor in your area of expertise?
Be sure you know what kind of images you're looking for, and that the photographer has a portfolio available for viewing.
What questions should customers think through before talking to vendors about their needs?
