About
I taught myself photography at 18 because I needed an outlet for my right-brained desire to create. I've always been a storyteller, and I think photography is the most effective tool in telling stories. Our lives are stories, and they should be documented as authentically as possible. I'm driven by opportunities to capture some of the most beautiful, special moments in people's lives, and I can't wait to capture yours! Ask me about custom packages and BFF discounts for friend groups!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always try to meet with clients over coffee before booking any sessions. The earlier the better! These meetings are super informal and revolve around your ideas for your session. We'll chat about locations, artistic and stylistic preferences, and any questions you might have! From there, we'll discuss rates and logistics. If possible, I like to scout new locations or client-preferred locations I'm not familiar with before the session. I'll try my best to make your booking process and session feel as comfortable, personalized, and laid-back as possible!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I'm primarily self-taught, I minored in photography in college. I'm constantly investing in further developing my skills through personal projects and workshops.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes! All of my clients receive price guides that detail every price package I offer for all of my services. My packages include the amount of shooting time, number of locations and outfits, and the number of edited photos. I do offer custom sessions via session add-ons, like extra time, locations, or outfits, as well as studio use. My price guides are easy to navigate and allow my clients to directly select which services and add-ons they'd like to book.
How did you get started in this business?
I bought my first DSLR kit for $500 when I was 19. I'd taken a class on visual storytelling a few months before, and I couldn't stop thinking about the photography assignment. I had rented a camera from my school for the project, and I kept going back afterwards in order to teach myself photography. My first camera was the biggest purchase I'd ever made, and it's become one of the most important purchases of my life. I've updated my gear since then, but that little camera introduced me to an entirely new world of interpersonal connection, art, and expression.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with customers from a wide range of backgrounds! My clientele includes high school and college students from public, private, and parochial schools, expecting parents, newly-engaged couples, families (single-parent, blended, and more), industry professionals, actors, social media influencers and folks looking for "just because" lifestyle photography. I'm completely open to working with anyone and everyone!
Note: I do not tolerate discrimination or hatred of any kind in my work.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I studied abroad in Italy during my senior year of college. While I was there, I worked on what turned out to be the most improtant project of my career thus far. I shot a project that I later titled "See Me" with friends I met in Italy. My goal was to explore the dichotomy between light and dark, seen and hidden, through playing with highlights and shadows. It took about a month and a half to conceptualize, plan, shoot, and edit the project, and it was all worth it. Photos from the project were selected to show in an exhibition in Florence, and it was one of the proudest, most fulfilling moments I've experienced as a photographer.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be open to new ideas! You're most likely trying to find someone you can trust to capture special, intimate moments in your life, and that's a big deal. I always take my clients' wants and needs seriously, and I love when they consider my creative suggestions for poses, lighting, and locations, too. Comfort in front of the camera is important to me. I want you to leave our session feeling confident and complete so that you can cherish your photos for years to come.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What are your priorities for your session? What is more important to you – budget or final product? Who or what are these photos for? What are your artistic/stylistic preferences? Are you open to new ideas? Are you comfortable in front of a camera? If not, let me know! We'll work through it together.
