Welcome to My Darling Photog KC. My name is Nicole and I am so glad you found me. I am a lifestyle photographer in the greater Kansas City Metro area. I specialize in candid shots with family and toddlers. I love to photograph cosplay, costumes, Fantasy, superheros
prior to working with humans, I concentrated on nature, landscape, travel, macro and anything that involved wildlife and the outdoors!

When I became a mom in May 2019, I knew I needed to leave the retail space and start my passion.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
talking, getting to know you and what you are wanting from your shoot. I love to collaborate and I enjoy bouncing back ideas of where to go or what poses to try or props to have within the photo.
After we figure what will happen in the shoot, we schedule the day and where it will be; home or at a park. It's up to you!
After our exciting adventure, I head home and process photos. pending on the sessions, it could take from 2-3 weeks.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Adobe lightroom; Adobe photoshop
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Every session (except weddings and events) will start out with a flat rate of $150.00 for 1-2 hours of time. Depending on what session you choose, more time may be included based on what is needed.
(Weddings start out at $1,000.00)
*This fee is your reservation on the schedule. It also includes my time and detail to editing.
Negatives - Digital files with full editing rights released start out at $25 for a single image, $500 for 25 images and $1000 for the entire album. This allows you to use Instagram filters, crop and whatever else you would like to do with the image.

How did you get started in this business?
In 2019, I had my first baby, a girl named Magdalena and she is my best thing. I just adore her and that is when I decided to stay GOOD-BYE to retail management life and HELLO to photography and mom life! That is where I am today. Grinding to become a full time mom again and making photography my main business!

find someone you are willing to invest in because you like their style, not because of their price or status.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
what does your pricing include? does it include images? wardrobe changes? what is your turnaround on images?
