Steven Gregory Studios
About
Steven Gregory Studios is basically a professional wedding photographer (Steve) and a professional wedding videographer (Greg) who, after 25 years of building the reputations of some of the most prominent studios in New Jersey, got together in 2019 to establish their own studio.
We not only produce high end photography and video for events, but also compelling coporate videos.
Unusual as it might sound to some, we're addidicted to two things - learning our craft, and teaching that craft to our team (collaboratively, because no on has the patent on creativity and competence).
Knowing that what we produce for our clients far surpass "hitting the mark" they were expecting drives us every day.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Being that most couples have never hired a professional wedding photographer before, we treat our initial consultations as a "hiring your photographer" educational session.
We actually show you how to:
1 - Identify what your unique style preference is,
2 - Discern what style you're looking at when shopping, and
3 - Ask the right questions
in order to find the perfect match for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We're all self taught and have over 60 years of experience, and that's only between Steve and Greg! We continually run staff workshops that enable us all to grow in our respective crafts.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We do, and are happy to share our pricing. Since there are so many options available and ways that we can customize a package that best suits your needs, it's usually best that we have a quick conversation prior.
If you think about it, numbers on a piece of paper are meaningless without knowing what you're getting for the price, and NOTHING is standard from one company's offerings to another.
How did you get started in this business?
Both Steve and Greg started over 30 years ago, working for and learning from the most high end and respected studios in the Northern New Jersey area.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types, but especially ones who appreciate high quality work delivered in a super friendly, laid back manner:)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We just shot a wedding in NYC where the ceremony was right inside Penn Station. Very cool and fun vibe!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find a studio that is willing to educate you on ALL of the styles that exisit out there before presenting theirs to you. That's what we do, which means that no matter whom you book, the chances of you landing on your perfect match will go way up.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Having never done this before, can you help me/us determine the specific and unique style I/we gravitate to when it comes to photography?
How would you describe your typical approach my type of job or event?
If any, what safeguards do you have in place to guarantee that we will come away with the images we really want?
What is the overall process by which you will administer my job?
