Trio Daphne

Trio Daphne is a Jazz vocal/instrumental trio with John Merrill on guitar, Reid Taylor on bass and myself Rie Yamaguchi-Borden on vocal and also on drums.

We have been performing in various restaurants and bars in NYC last 5 years developing an unique and intimate band sound.

We specialize in classic American standards of Gershwin, Porter, Berlin in the grand styling of Billie Holiday and Frank Sinatra with modern twist plus many boss nova and Latin tunes in between for elegant Jazz club-like experience.

Our band has been invited to many weddings and parties and had great reception for our work.
