What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First i give them a hair analysis. Then we talk about their lifestyle. Then we discuss how they want to wear there hair.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i went to cosmotology school. I attend many hair shows. I have a certificate in weaving and I also have training in wig making.
How did you get started in this business?
i always had a passion for doing hair as a youngster. So as an adult I furthered my education in cosmotology school and attended many class on hair such as as weaving wig making marketing etc.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with the working class people, children, adults, women, teenagers, elderly. All types of women.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This year I attended 3 Community fairs in the Bronx. There I displayed my hair extension line and my wigs. It was the most amazing experience . I will attend each one again in the coming years.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for a license hairstylist who cares about your hair. Not just your money.
