About

I really love making custom services that are particular to the couples that I work with. I do not plug names into a script, but rather take the time to work with the couple to craft a service that is particular to them. I would be thrilled to help create a ceremony that is as special and unique as the story of your love!

I've done dozens of weddings, and every time I do one, I feel so deeply fortunate to be able to be present to witness to the gift of love in this world. It is an honor to be so close to people as they start their married lives together.

Alan was awesome to work with, he made it super easy for my fiancé (now husband) and I to work with him. He was easy to talk to and we were easily able to get everything done. He answers all your questions and helps you work through different things.

    Frequently asked questions

I usually like to meet with the couple in person (or on the phone) and talk through the wedding planning process.  Together, we work through an outline of what the next few months will look like and how we can develop a meaningful ceremony for their special day.

I have a M.Div from Union Theological Seminary, have served as a pastor for ten years, and have officiated over 30 weddings
I really try and work with a couple on their budget and what they're asking. An elopement in a park with minimal planning can be $100. Multiple meetings and a ceremony in the nicest ballroom in town could be over $500. The pricing adjusts based on your needs and your budget.
I did a wedding for some friends and they had relatives who enjoyed the ceremony so much that they began to recommend me to people. From there I started offering my services to people through recommendations or sites like Fash.
I have done interfaith marriages, no-faith marriages, ceremonies with multiple languages, lgbtqia+ weddings, I'm open to all kinds of folks and weddings.
I enjoy all the weddings I get to officiate, but my most fond one was in the mountains in Utah. It was a small family affair and the sunset over the Rockies was beautiful. Most importantly though, it was my brother's wedding. I love him and was so grateful to be a part of his day.
Find someone you're comfortable with. It is a big day and the process can be daunting, but it doesn't have to be. A good officiant makes the process easy, and makes you feel comfortable every step of the way.
