How did you get started in this business?
Passion! I was always the family member that got everyone together. I knew what I wanted to do early on. I had my Cosmetology license upon graduating high school.

Rooftop Yoga and Facials! Health, wellness, and beauty! All proceeds went to Make a Wish Foundation.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Don't be afraid to ask questions. Make sure health is the first priority. A professional will turn down money to ensure health. Example: "I'm sorry, I can't offer relaxer and permanent color simultaneously."
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What exactly do you want, and how long do you want it for? Don't make any permanent decisions based on temporary feelings. You'll end up unhappy.
