Anne Sweeney - Hair Artist
About
I offer a personal and comfortable experience for my clients. I take the time and care into each hair service I provide in order to achieve the best results all while offering affordable prices to my clients. I believe everyone should have the hair of their dreams and I am always willing to work with every budget to get my clients there.
I really love to see the excitement on my clients faces when a service is done. Being able to boost the confidence in a person with a haircut or Haircolor is really awesome. Being a mom, I want to take care of everyone and doing hair really allows me to care for people but also be creative in my work. I meet so many amazing people from all walks of life and it's truly an honor that they chose me to take care of their hair. That might sound a bit silly, but I have such great relationships with every one of my clients, so it's a great feeling to be a part of so many different people's lives.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get an idea of what they are looking for before they come in for their appointment. I'll speak with them via text or over the phone and that way we both have a good idea of what can be accomplished during the appointment. I do require consultations for hair extensions and a trial run for bridal hair.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated in 2012 from the Bella Institute School of Cosmetology. I have worked as a hairstylist for 3 years and have taken different color and extensions classes to continue my education.
How did you get started in this business?
I have a very strong passion for this industry. I really love making people feel good and I found that hair was my catalyst to do that. A good hair day can change anyone's day!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Finding someone who is talented is important, but finding someone who you click with is more important. Not every stylist will be a good fit for every person and you want to find someone who you can really get along with. You'll spend 2-3 hours a month with this person, it should be enjoyable and relaxing.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I think it is important to remember that everyone's hair is different, and with that means different processes or techniques to get certain results. So it's okay to ask your stylist to turn your black hair into blonde but just be aware that it won't happen in a day. And it will be expensive.
