What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I send them a message right away and let them know that I'm excited to work with them. Then I send a few reminders before the appointment regarding locations and times, etc. I chat with new clients for a few minutes after meeting them for the first time in order to get to know them better. After the photoshoot, I send them a message thanking them for an opportunity to photograph them and when & how I will send the images for preview.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I shadowed a professional photographer for 3 years learning the skills.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Surprise proposal. I received a call from the fiance, the girlfriend didn't have a clue. We set a time and date, I showed up and let the fiance know what I was wearing. He got on one knee and I got the whole thing captured. We went for an engagement pictures afterwards.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Show up relaxed and ready to have some fun! I advise clients on what colors / patterns to wear or not to wear.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Budget, how many images they provide, place & time. Also what style of editing they provide & if they will help with poses.
