Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a consultation. With COVID, I just ask to send a current picture of your hair so I that I have an idea of what I am working with. We can discuss the services you are seeking as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Cosmetologist with over 15years experience. I provide all types of hair services for various hair types.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do, however they can be viewed on my FaceBook page. Pricing varies depending on the service, hair length and complexity of the style.
How did you get started in this business?
I've always taken interest in beauty since I was younger. I decided to return to school for Cosmetology in 2013. I knew I wanted my own business and I never lost my passion for hair. Years later, my siblings and I were blessed with a salon from our father for a little over a year. Things didn't go as planned and we all went separate ways as far as a family business, plus there were many life changes happening at the time. In February, 2020, one of my sisters and I decided to try again with our own plan and here we are! #Studio56
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've work with all types. No discrimination.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
There are a lot of professionals out here. Choose one that you feel you will be comfortable with and one who cares about your hair needs. Chiose one whom ties into consideration what you want but will discuss your needs as well.. Yes, this is our way of life, but it's not all about the $$. You should step out of a salon proud of the services you have paid for!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
As a customer, consider your budget, your wants and if you will be able to be consistent.
