About

We take our slogan, "Spontaneous moments captured for a lifetime," very seriously. How many of us have attended a special outdoor event that created many memorable moments but nothing to really show for it because someone forgot to take photos with a smartphone or cell phone or the photos were poorly taken?

Family vacations and special events create once-in-a-lifetime moments that won't be repeated again. Couples may experience something very special at any of the Arkansas outdoor events or festivals. Grandparents want something to remember from a very special time spent with their grandchildren. Children grow up too fast.

Festivals of Arkansas Event Photography (FARE Pix) combines portrait and event photography. We capture photos of families, children, couples, etc., enjoying all the major outdoor events and festivals Arkansas has to offer. We sell artistic, stylized prints of what will be impressive lifetime framed photos from that special event or festival.

Robin Richards, the business owner, and photographer started FARE Pix in 2016. Prior to that, she worked as a freelance photojournalist for four years with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette special sections. She still provides freelance photography skills for a local magazine. Prior to working with the newspaper, her photography passion was worked into her public relations profession too.

More information about Robin can be found on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/robinrichards/; FARE Pix Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/farepix; FARE Pix Website: https://www.farepix.com/

The greatest reward we receive is when we personally deliver the photos within Arkansas. I love to see the smiles and hear my customer's gasps when they look at the picture. They realize the photo came out so much better than they expected.

I love being the field because it's so much fun! We meet so many wonderful people while we take their photos. Plus, I always get an adrenalin high when I'm taking photos. There isn't anything I don't like doing in my business. From taking the photos to processing, I love it all.

    Frequently asked questions

Communication is key between us and the customer. We communicate using Facebook Messenger, email, phone and Skype. We are available until 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday.

If they are choosing a photo from an event, then we will have all photos posted on the FARE Pix website gallery as a submenu with the event's name after a maximum time of one (1) week after the event. Each photo is given a number. The customer would need to contact us and give us the selected photo number, and then we discuss the frame of choice for them and their home. The frame or frames take at least one week before they are ready. We personally deliver the completed framed photos within Arkansas only. If the photos need to be shipped, we can talk about shipping costs prior to printing.

We accept credit cards, checks, and cash either at the event or an invoice can be emailed to the client for payment. That is typically done with Paypal. Payment is required prior to printing and framing of the photos.

Robin Richards, the business owner, and lead photographer has a Public Relations Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock and worked within that profession for over 10 years. She started as a freelance photojournalist in 2012, and she continues to work freelance for local print magazines.

Our pricing system can be found on the FARE Pix website.

The 2008 major recession caused Robin to start plan B much sooner than she had anticipated. She started as a freelance photojournalist and writer for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette special sections in 2012. Her work with the newspaper required taking pictures at various Arkansas festivals and special events around the state for the paper and digitally delivering them to the paper for publication along with written captions.

A sudden change in editors caused her to end that working relationship in 2016, but she picked up a new freelance job with a local magazine in 2016 and is currently working with them.

That sudden shift in work from 2016 pushed Robin into starting FARE Pix. She decided to continue using the photography experience she used with the newspaper and start her own photography business, which is now combined with portrait photography.

We work with customers who are 30+ years of age, middle to upper income, families with children and we photograph children only.

I can't pick just one event we are fond of because each event creates its own unique memory.

First, I would say go to our website. You will find more information about what we provide and prices there and then gives us a call. Our business is unique.

WE have a Client Information FAQ page on our website to address any questions future customers may have. If a potential customer does not see an answer to their question, then they can email us or call us.
