What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been DJing for over 12 years now. I started with and iPod and two speakers and worked my way up to where I'm at today. I've worked on this several great local DJs here in Bastrop and Austin Texas and study their methods and perfected my own style.

How did you get started in this business?
I have been involved in one form or another in music ever since I was a little boy whether it was singing in school courses or church choirs. I've always been the guy that brings the music to a party. Music has been a Jeep influence in my life and first I got started with singing karaoke and then looking to run karaoke events and from there I moved on to regular music and my life took off from there. Music is at the heart of everything in my life
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all sorts of customers. Different genre of music from country Turok 2 dance hip hop to Latin music. I've been to plenty of corporate events. I've seen different types of clients
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have a weekly karaoke and dance night show every Friday night in Bastrop Texas at a bar called The Old Town Bar and Grill. That was my latest public event. I provided music for one of the floats in a Christmas parade for the Bastrop downtown business Alliance Christmas of 2019. I've done several weddings in the last few months.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You get what you paid for. When looking for adj especially for events such as weddings or graduations, sit down and talk with the DJ face to face. Get to know them ask them questions. If they give you a price that seems to be quite expensive, don't dismiss it just because it might be too much money. Hear him out and ask questions as to why he feels he is worth that much money. Ask him what he brings to the table and why it would be worth it to hire him. For me, I want my clients to get to know me and understand where I'm coming from and what I can bring to their event. I want them to feel that their event is the most important event in the world because it is and that when I arrive there, I will give it my all to make it a magical and special night for them whether it's a wedding a corporate event a party karaoke dance music or anything else that I bring to the table.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is it that you are trying to accomplish in your event. What would you like to happen during your event. If it's a wedding do you have specific music you would like played at certain times such as first dance or mother-son father-daughter dance? Always make sure you have a list of at least 30 songs that you can give to the DJ right up front so that he can have an idea of the type of music you would like and let him build from that list.
