I’m Rylee Behrman. First off, I want to say a big congratulations on your engagement! This is such an exciting time. Thanks for taking the time to scroll through our website and learn a little more about Chasing Butterflies. Choosing a wedding planner is such a personal thing so I wanted to share a little about myself-
I grew up in McKinney, TX where my love for the wedding industry began. I graduated from college in Arkansas, married my high school sweetheart, and we moved to Austin, TX where we currently live with our mischievous Chocolate Lab, Tyke. When I’m not day dreaming of wedding designs or curating the perfect timeline, you can find me hiking with my dog or trying out a new coffee shop. I am a 1 on the Enneagram scale for those of you that are fascinated with personality types like me!
I got started in the wedding industry when I was 17 and I’ve loved every minute of it! When I began my career in wedding planning I just kept thinking to myself “this job gives me butterflies”, and I knew I not only wanted to chase that feeling for myself, but I wanted each and every one of my couples to feel the same way about their wedding day. And that’s how Chasing Butterflies Weddings and Events was born.

I love building relationships with my clients during their wedding planning process. By their wedding day, I feel like I'm celebrating the marriage of old friends.
I also enjoy the balance of creativity and organization that go into this career. Helping couples discover their vision for their wedding, then nailing down all the details and logistics is one of the best feelings!

Once a potential client contacts me, we'll start with an initial consultation. The the couple will decide if they want to move forward with my service.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do have a standard pricing system based on my clients needs. There are also additional fees for traveling.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I always recommend that you talk to multiple wedding planners. You will be spending a lot of time with your wedding planner before and during your wedding, so it's important that you enjoy their company!
