Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start the client onboarding process with a consult call/meeting (your preference!) to discuss your vision for the shoot, approximate time needed, location details, etc. From that point, I send a contract and require a $50 deposit to secure your appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. In my time there, I was trained in digital photography and videography and completed several projects and internships that gave me skills and experience that I am incredibly grateful for!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Portrait shoots are priced on an hourly basis- $200 per hour. The hourly rate includes 30 edited photos delivered digitally, with the option to have them delivered in print form or on a keepsake USB for an additional fee. For real estate photography, my rate is 10 cents per square foot. For larger shoots such as weddings or events, contact me for pricing! These are priced on an individual basis depending on time/additional shooters needed, size of the event, method of delivery and amount of edits. I travel to each shoot within 60 miles- anything outside of 60 miles incurs a $50 travel fee.
How did you get started in this business?
I've had an interest in photography since I was about 14- I picked up the family digital camera and started shooting things around the house and neighborhood. From there, I took my passion to college, and now here we are!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of customers! I've had the pleasure of shooting family sessions, couples sessions, headshots, sports, real estate, weddings, you name it! Versatility is the name of my game!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When you're looking to hire a photographer, make sure you do your due diligence. Find someone with a visual and artistic style that suits your taste and vision. Photos last a lifetime, make sure you'll be in love with them for a lifetime, too!
