My name is Destiny Odom I am owner of Elle Amar salon. I have been a licensed stylist since 2009. I have experience with all hair types,cut,color Braids,extension,and all hair lengths. I am a stylist that builds relationships with her clients to know what they like, what fits their personality. My Moto is you feel how you look and my goal every time a person leaves my chair is to feel AMAZING. I am a stylist that will be a forever student I love to learn from my peers and I love to teach when there is something I know that can help another stylist.
I enjoy the reactions when a client sees themselves after getting there hairstyle. It is a reward with-in it self when a client loves there transformation.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically have a idea of what the client wants done and I will ask for a picture of something similar to they look they are going for. I ask about what they prefer to have such which side they like their part on, or would they prefer not to have anything in their face. Maybe pictures of how they wore their hair previously.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed Cosmetology while I was in high school. I have completed hair extension classss, frontals,closures, wig making classes. Color classes, and hair cutting classes

How did you get started in this business?
I have always known I wanted to be a hairstylist. I became a licensed cosmetologist in 2009, I have working in two different chain salons JC Penny’s and Smartstyle, I have worked as a commission stylist from 2011 until current. I have been a business owner since 2013.
