We enjoy meeting new people and getting to understand what it is that they're looking for. The photo sessions allow us to be creative and the most enjoyable part is watching our customer's reaction when viewing the finished product!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to get to know you first to understand what makes you...you. Everyone is quirky, unique, fun, and special; we want to convey this in every photo provided to you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had my initial training at the Art Institute of Atlanta when I was in high school (a long, long time ago...) and photographing weddings with medium format film prior to getting married in 1996.
I’ve always stayed up to date on the digital technologies and currently use two full frame mirrorless Nikon Z6s during my photo sessions.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We believe our pricing is very fair but understand everyone’s situation is different. Talk to us if finance is an issue and we can discuss payment options and potential discounts.
How did you get started in this business?
I've always had a passion for photography, even at a very young age. I guess I never outgrew it!
Initially family and friends asked for photos and it expanded from there.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of customers ranging from young soon-to-be married couples to newborns. I especially enjoy photographing families and seeing the interaction between children to children and with the parents.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent photography session was a fundraising COTA event (Children's Organ Transplant Association) for Clark Wilcox. What a wonderful family and remarkable young boy living in McKinney.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Check out their work and get to know their personality. There are many talented photographers out there and make sure they get to know your uniqueness so that it can be transferred to the images.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Sometimes we get enamored with the end product but I recommend checking the small details. Ask yourself questions - Is the contract one-sided, are they willing to accommodate your needs, and are they insured? Don't be afraid to discuss money; photographers are people and most times, we're very nice :)
