Piggy Pibil

This project has been a dream I've had for a very long time. A project I was eager to pursue, but could never really find the time to do so. But thanks to the support of my loved ones, friends, and family, we made the time to follow through with this dream. The dream of creating a place where my family and I could create the food and atmosphere we know and love, and share it with the community! It was an ambitious dream that we made true!

We started this only as a dream. We didn’t have a true plan, any financial projections, or working capital. We literally created the blueprints as we went along: painting the walls, the floor, tables, the concept, and everything else. We put everything we had into this dream and worked very hard. Most importantly, we put our hearts into it. However, there were some elements that demand more than we can give, such as devoting more time we simply don’t have, as well as the high cost of the restaurant expenses, so It was with a heavy heart that we announced the closing of our restaurant in Katy-Fulshear, nevertheless and motivated for our customers, we keep serving our food trough catering and making this dream true.

The key for success is when you love what you do and there is nothing more satisfactory that the acknowledgement you get for your work, the way that our customers welcomed us with open arms makes me be forever grateful, I have developed many friendships and established relationships with more people than I ever thought possible, so I may say that the love for cooking and the happiness of my customers are the reasons that make me enjoy this work.
