Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked both part-time and full-time with various companies as a photographer for the past 6 years. I've volunteered to shoot many things, and look for every opportunity to improve. I graduated from Brigham Young University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in photography and a minor in business management. For the past few years I've been freelancing as an Architectural/Interior Photographer for a number of clients. Most importantly, I love what I do and that passion drives me to create good work!
How did you get started in this business?
I first photographed an interior and exterior of a home for a class assignment in college, and to my surprise I instantly fell in love with it. Since then, I've focused as much of my work as possible in that area to grow my business and strengthen my portfolio.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with Architects, Interior Designers, Real Estate Companies, Builders, Contractors, Etc.
What advice would you give a customers looking to hire a vendor in your area of expertise?
I would advise everyone to not hire someone just based on money. You really do get what you pay for. Make sure you look at the photographer's work before you hire them, and determine if you like it. Some photographers don't color correct, don't straighten perspectives, etc. and it really makes a difference in the final product. Invest in a photographer that puts in the time to produce great work, and you are sure to benefit from it!
