About
I listen to what customers want and try to work my art and magic around that. I shoot with a Canon 7D pro camera and multiple additional Canon camera bodies as well as a multitude of lenses from 28mm to my Sigma 150-600m specialty lens. I also included a portable studio with multiple backdrops and full lighting to ensure I can cover any need a client gives me. I can also bring a portable photo lab and print onsite for photo booth bookings making my services really stand out from others.
I love photography and have since I was a kid with my first 110mm Kodak camera.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I keep everything as simple as possible. Most of my rates are flat rates or set hourly so there's little to no haggling over costs. I keep my rates fair and honest, since most of my work comes from referrals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken numerous photogrphy courses over the last 35 years to stay up to date onthe latest in technology and editing.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Generally, my rates for a 1 hour photo session start at $150. This includes the basic color corrections, cropping and photos on CD. Additional fees for more than 1 person, prints, or extensive editing are negotiable.
How did you get started in this business?
Photography was a hobby when it was 35mm film. I started doing sports photography for school and summer teams selling prints to moms and dads. When digital came along it allowed me to expand further and branch into multiple area of photography.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with infants, seniors, high scool, grade school and sports teams as well as everythign in between. I also work with corporate clients for website and catalog product photography.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I LOVE doing outdoor photography. Whether it's an outdoor portrait session or just driving for miles and miles taking nature and landscape. One of the most recent was doing a 12 year old in an outdoor nature setting. Allowing him to choose where some shots were taken, letting him also choose his poses at times made it fun and more memorable for him.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Get a feel for thier personality. Digital cameras make taking photos easier as they can be a little more forgiving. But its the personality, attitude and creativity of the photographer that can make them special. Anything can be photographed, but not every photograph is worthy of being printed or framed.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Obvious the main 3 - price, availablity and creativity. But moreso make sure the photgrapher undertands what YOU want. Some tend to be aggressive about how THEY think the photo should be taken. And thats good to a degree, but if they are trying to do what doesnt fit to what you, the client, wants then they are wasting your time and money.
