About
Aloha, my name is Rhys (Reese) Kiaaina (key ah eye na) and I am originally from Honolulu, Hawaii and been living in Los Angeles for the last 12 years with my wife, Grace, and 3 children, Kala'i, Kainani, and Keahikupono. I have served as an Ordained Minister for 30 years in Non-denominational Christian Churches in Alaska, San Francisco, Hawaii, and Los Angeles. In our fellowship, I'm known as "The Rev." I oversaw 5 other churches throughout the Hawaiian Islands, Guam, Saipan, and Myanmar. I have officiated countless of weddings and funerals for people of diverse backgrounds, led groom honorings, and assisted with bridal showers with my wife over my 30 year career in the ministry . While I can do a traditional wedding that is fairly simple, my specialty is working with a couple to get a tailored wedding that gives the couple and families a wedding to remember. If this is the kind of wedding you want, I am your Rev! Aloha means, "Hello or Goodbye" in Hawaii. But to ancient Hawaiians, this word carries a much deeper meaning. Aloha literally means, "the breath of life." When two people would meet, they would touch their foreheads and noses together to exchange "aloha or the breath of life." It was a sign of deep love, respect, friendship, and goodwill to the other. I would be honored to participate in one of the biggest moments of your life and give a little "aloha."
