A professional DJ is more that a person that plays music. I offer free consultations to help you cordinate your wedding ceremony and reception. I motivate your guests, handle all emcee responsibilities, play great music and make your event a fun and stree-free event for you and your guests to enjoy. You want to know that you have hired someone that no matter what happens, will be there for you, and be calm and able to do whatever it takes to make your day perfect.
With Music by Mike as your DJ company, you meet with me, plan with me, and I will be the DJ at your event.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I will meet with a new client to discuss what they are looking for in a DJ and if I am a good match for them. Once booked I provide a copy of my detailed planning guide, and will usually meet 1-2 more times at the venue to discuss the design, layout and flow of the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not specifically DJ related but I have worked as a Biomedical Equipment Tech, an Electronics Test Specialist, and an Electrical Engineer. These past experiences have given me many years of technical experience and problem solving skills.

My base rate for a reception up to 5 hours is $1300.00, and for a ceremony requiring a separate sound system is $300.00
