Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process for working with a new customer is having them qualify my business, rates and reviews from Yelp and Wedding Wire to see if they would like to move forward with a quote. Then visiting my website to filling out "check availability form." I am happy to meet face to face with all new customers to see if we would be a great fit for their wedding or event. All meetings are complimentary and there is never any obligation to sign.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The education and training I have had was speech and communications in college. This helped me with mastering emceeing. As well as sports broadcasting classes that helped with listening and content to be able to respond and deliver heartfelt presentations to engage clients audiences for lasting and memorable experiences.

How did you get started in this business?
I started my business while I was in high school and have been full-time ever since.
I was taking a woodworking class and a fellow classmate asked me to build him speaker cabinets, a dj console, and amplifier rack. I then delivered his items to his home and he showed me what deejaying was all about. I fell in love with spinning records and music. And, the rest is history.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with wedding, corporate, professional, private, sports, and non and not for profit organizations.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am very fond of "Cake and Cap Day" for a Little League I have been working with since 2009. I am their Auctioneer for their only fundraiser of the year. Teams and Families come together and donate, bake, and build amazing baseball items to sell at auction. And, the participation and outcome is amazing. We raise a lot of money and everyone has the best time. It is really a site to see.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The advice I would offer is this. Do your due diligence and check your potential entertainers Reviews from Yelp. Get a quote, and then meet face to face with that person. Make sure that the person you hire is the person you are talking too. Check out their web site and photos and videos from Facebook. And, have a conversation with them. You may ask for personal references as well.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
First, customers should qualify the pro by visiting their potential entertainers web site to make sure that their personalities, service, and attention to details meets their standards for their event. Reading and looking through their web site and review pages from Yelp or other sites will help them to ask the right questions for their event. The biggest question or concern is pricing. And, what are you getting for your investment. Pros invest at least 18-30 hours into every event. It all comes down to how important is your day. And, if you want the best then be prepared to invest in your day. Just know that your entertainer is your insurance policy for everything you have invested into your event.
The outcome will be the best ever. Because we care about you and your experience. For me, "I just want everyone to be delighted."
