What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
i first have a consultation, then a meeting if needed in person, then the actual appointment. This could be all done in one day. We could work with photos as well. I often refer them to my FB business page so they can take a sneak peek@ some of my work!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was first trained by an EXTREMELY detailed & strict, Japanese lady in a small salon up in NorCal. I went to San Jose City College,& then graduated and passed my State Board exam & was licensed. I worked as a receptionist, then became a stylist. I moved to Newport Beach in 1992 & began working & training/assisting @ Allen Edwards Salon, that Later changed To Toni & Guy & I went on to work for 11 years after & managed the salon. For the 11- years I had been employed @ Toni & Guy, I went to the academy every weekend for the education & training! Thereafter, I have gone to various classes and other training as well. This will go on probably till Im no longer able to work!!

How did you get started in this business?
Started because it was my passion & I LOOVED doing it! Aftwr over 30 yrs..I still love it, only MORE!! I will NEVER stop doing hair & making people happy...which is THE BEST part!
