About

I take great care in getting to know a couple, hearing their story, learning their senses of humor and what they value most then carefully and intentionally create a one-of-a-kind cermony that fits them! I refuse to force couples into a "cookie-cutter" ceremony that has been performed time and time again on repeat for a quick buck (sorry to oust you "other guys").

I hold a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and have a background in Pastoral Ministry (including pre-marital counseling).

Dreaming and creating a wedding ceremony alongside a couple that excites them brings me passion! What better way to help a couple launch into the lifelong commitment of marriage than making their wedding day special?

My husband and I live on the east coast and we were looking for a pastor to officiate our wedding in Southern California. Andy was a recommendation from our wedding planner and we are so happy that we decided to work with him! We “met” Andy virtually through FaceTime and we scheduled a few sessions to get to know each other. It consisted of casual conversations and fun question/answer games. During our ceremony, Andy was creative, funny, and lighthearted. We received so many compliments after the wedding and many of her guests thought he was one of our longtime friends. Little did they know that we did not meet him in person until the day of our wedding. Andy is caring, genuine and well spoken. We’re so glad he was there to take part of our special day.

We met Andy via our planner when we found ourselves without an officiant a couple weeks before the wedding. Despite the quick turnaround, he made time to meet us over video and in-person. He crafted the perfect ceremony with just the right balance of old meets new, humor, spirituality and personal touches. It felt like we had a friend up there with us. Our family and friends raved about how beautiful and original it was. Andy is genuine, professional, and really cares about delivering a special and memorable ceremony. We are so thankful and cannot recommend him enough.

Andy truly created a once-in-a-lifetime experience planning our ceremony. Andy doesnt follow a script, he really got to know me and my partner well and created a unique and memorable ceremony that our guests cannot stop talking about. He had us tearing up and laughing with joy, and make us feel so comfortable walking down the aisle knowing we would be in excellent hands.

Andy makes the entire process very genuine and friendly. We went from not knowing him to feeling like we were proud to have him officiate our wedding. He does a wonderful job making the ceremony a unique one to your wedding and to you and your significant other! Couldn’t recommend him more!

We came into contact with Andy via our wedding planner. He was quick to answer any and all emails and was very open to meeting us in person. To say we were blessed is an understatement. From the very first meeting we felt very connected and comfortable with Andy opening up about so many vulnerable aspects in our life. It didn’t feel like hiring a “vendor” for our wedding but rather meeting up with an old friend who was genuinely interested in getting to know us. He invited to his home with open arms and guided us through premarital counseling.
Come to the wedding day, Andy came prepared with the most thoughtful and moving words for the ceremony. It struck a perfect balance between: spiritual, light-hearted, and personalized to us, which is exactly what we wanted. Through out the rest of the day, we had numerous people tell us how amazing Andy was. We are so lucky to begin our marriage with his godly words, we seriously cannot recommend him enough!

Andy was amazing! From the very first time meeting him, he made us feel at ease about the whole process. We felt comfortable sharing our journey with him and he conveyed our story perfectly in the ceremony with the right amount of emotion, spirituality and humor. Even after the wedding he has checked back in on us to be there if we need anything. Andy is very professional, genuine and easy to talk to; we are so grateful to have had Andy marry us and be a part of our special day!

    Frequently asked questions

We will sit down for a simple, casual cup of coffee or meal at your convenience to begin a dialogue about what your dreams are for your ceremony! We will slowly and intentionally build a wedding ceremony outline that includes the things you hold most dear: inside jokes, music, prayers, readings, candles, family member participation, pets, etc. - you name it, we will make it happen!

I am an ordained pastor and am certified to do pre-marital counseling through the PrepareEnrich program. I hold a Master of Divinity Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and have over a decade of local church ministry experience.

Pricing is $500 and up depending on travel, preparation time, pre-marital counseling options and so on. I will be extremely open and honest about a price after a free consultation with no strings attached.

As a Pastor, I love to be present for and participate in pivotal life moments for people. What better life moment than the celebration of love and commitment in a wedding?

The majority of couples I have worked with are young business professionals in their 20s and 30s.

Be a little bit weary: if you do not know the person personally, formulate some questions and ask away! Here's a question you can ask: "How do you make every single wedding you do unique, personal, and romantic for a couple?" If you perceive they have to think about the answer to that question, you should beware.

You may find that many officiants attempt to force couples into a pre packaged wedding ceremony that is easily repeatable and done to simply supplement an income.

How do you make every single wedding you do unique, personal, and romantic for a couple?

How many weddings have you officiated in the past 3 months? (Beware of someone who has done many - it is impossible to create many unique experiences for many different couples at the same time because it takes careful planning and time.)

Tell me/us about a time a wedding ceremony did not go according to plan. How did you reassure the bride & groom and navigate through that difficulty?

If we call, text or email, how long can we expect it to take for you to get back to us?
