About
I take great care in getting to know a couple, hearing their story, learning their senses of humor and what they value most then carefully and intentionally create a one-of-a-kind cermony that fits them! I refuse to force couples into a "cookie-cutter" ceremony that has been performed time and time again on repeat for a quick buck (sorry to oust you "other guys").
I hold a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and have a background in Pastoral Ministry (including pre-marital counseling).

Dreaming and creating a wedding ceremony alongside a couple that excites them brings me passion! What better way to help a couple launch into the lifelong commitment of marriage than making their wedding day special?

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will sit down for a simple, casual cup of coffee or meal at your convenience to begin a dialogue about what your dreams are for your ceremony! We will slowly and intentionally build a wedding ceremony outline that includes the things you hold most dear: inside jokes, music, prayers, readings, candles, family member participation, pets, etc. - you name it, we will make it happen!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained pastor and am certified to do pre-marital counseling through the PrepareEnrich program. I hold a Master of Divinity Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and have over a decade of local church ministry experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is $500 and up depending on travel, preparation time, pre-marital counseling options and so on. I will be extremely open and honest about a price after a free consultation with no strings attached.
How did you get started in this business?
As a Pastor, I love to be present for and participate in pivotal life moments for people. What better life moment than the celebration of love and commitment in a wedding?
What types of customers have you worked with?
The majority of couples I have worked with are young business professionals in their 20s and 30s.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be a little bit weary: if you do not know the person personally, formulate some questions and ask away! Here's a question you can ask: "How do you make every single wedding you do unique, personal, and romantic for a couple?" If you perceive they have to think about the answer to that question, you should beware.
You may find that many officiants attempt to force couples into a pre packaged wedding ceremony that is easily repeatable and done to simply supplement an income.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How do you make every single wedding you do unique, personal, and romantic for a couple?
How many weddings have you officiated in the past 3 months? (Beware of someone who has done many - it is impossible to create many unique experiences for many different couples at the same time because it takes careful planning and time.)
Tell me/us about a time a wedding ceremony did not go according to plan. How did you reassure the bride & groom and navigate through that difficulty?
If we call, text or email, how long can we expect it to take for you to get back to us?
