Abbie and T.J. Productions provides skilled and talented entertainment for a variety of shows. Much is listed below. FACE PAINTERS -CARICATURE ARTISTS - HENNA ARTISTS AND AIR BRUSH TATTOO'S. Always a big hit for any event. We send out JUGGLERS, PROFESSIONAL UNICYCLER, MIMES, and other talents for meet and greet events as well as the talented shows listed below. EASTER BUNNY, SANTA, MRS. CLAUS, ELVES, FROSTY, GINGERBREAD MAN, MINNEE & NICKEY MOUSE WILL ATTEND YOUR EVENT.
ONE HOUR BUBBLE SHOW includes about a 30 minute very comical show that starts with a tiny bubble and soon becomes a giant bubble 5 to 6 foot bubble. We then put the guest of honor and/or a few of the audience participants inside a giant bubble which amazes the audience and makes for great photos. The remainder of the program is a hands-on fun experience for both children and adults. Bubble stations are set out and the group can participate in making bubbles with the incredible shapes and size bubble wands. The toddlers love to chase the bubbles and the older children & adults love to make them. Fun for all ages!
COMEDY & MAGIC SHOW: A 45 minute show great for audiences 3 through 12 years of age. A very funny show where our magician will keep your guests laughing. He uses assistants from the audience or the birthday child and every time the assistant waves the magic wand and the audience says the magic words, poof, all the magic happens. Lots of funny antics with a grand finale.

Great show for ages 12 years and above. Michael is a fun loving Magician. He likes to make you laugh. He's pretty good at that, but his real goal is to blow your mind. At that, he is an expert. He is famous for his illusions and sleight of hand style of magic. For years, he has entertained at private parties, festivals, fairs and promotions. He has appeared (and disappeared) on TV, radio, stage and movies. He has a box full of awards. Michael is the real deal. Upon occasion, he can be seen floating about the Magic Castle in Hollywood.

Our professional Karaoke DJ has great sound and high end equipment. He DJ's and conducts Karaoke certain days a week at the local clubs. He will make announcements with his marketing skills, for promotionals, as well as conducting mixers. getting young and old involved in the festivities. His mixers for children's events keep the kids totally entertained. His large variety of music when he DJ's will keep each generation at your event moving, or choose your favorite.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first ask them to describe exactly what they are looking for. We want to find out as much as possible as to the type of entertainment to fit their special event. We then will give suggestions, let them know what we have on special for that month, etc.
If it is a large event for a private party, event planner, caterer, fundraiser, church, school, etc. or anyone wanting to schedule multiple types of entertainment. We are happy to put together a professional written proposal offering discounts from 10 to 20% depending upon the dollar amount.
Once the proposal is accepted and are ready to schedule their entertainment we do require a deposit to hold the entertainment on any major credit or debit card.. We then prepare an Invoice / Contract.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After high school I completed a Business Course at Drakes Business School in NYC which helped me to run my own business through the years. 29 years ago I took a theatrical arts class and clownology course at Mira Costa Community college in Oceanside, Ca. Through the years, I have been to many workshops, conventions, classes, etc pertaining to puppetry, clowning, face painting, balloon twisting and magic. For many years I gave classes, taught and certified at least 150 to 200 performers with skills such as magic, face painting, balloon twisting and professional ethics and rules to become a great entertainer/performer and how to run a successful entertainment business.

Prices are listed on everything we offer and posted on our 11 page website. However, if a client is scheduling more than one program, it is always best to call or email for a quote as discounts may apply. To make a long story short, I met my partner and love of my life, TJ the Magician, aka, Bubble Guy, Game Leader, Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, character performer, etc. together we entertained and watched my small business grow. It has grown over the years to what it is today.
How did you get started in this business?
I started my business as a birthday party clown part time to supliment my income after a divorce. I was working full time for 10 years past as a real estate commercial division secretary. Six months later I quit my job as I had to hire an assistant to help with my clown business. To make a long story short, I met my partner and together we entertained and watched my small business grow. It has grown over the years to what it is today.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We entertain at family parties at the park or at home for birthdays, communions, quinceariera, graduation, family reunions, bar mitzvah. and other family events.
We have clients that use us year after year for their Corporate Employee Picnics, Annual Corporate Christmas Parties, to name a few: EDCO, Waste Management, Cisco Foods, Rancho Bernardo Inn, Hotel Del Coronado, The Midway, Star of India, International Iron Workers Union, Toby Wells Foundation, Rancho Santa Fe Community Center, and so many more.
Head Start Programs, Preschools, elementary schools as well as the different school districts in San Diego County. Chabad Acadamy, USD, UCSD, and other colleges and universities. Little Leage, Pop Warner, The Padres private family parties and also team family events, The Chargers family parties and team events. Monster Truck events at Qualcom, Angels Stadium and Dodger Stadium.
A big portion of our business is due to the different Indian Reservations in the County. Barona in Lakeside, Pala, Pechanga in Temecula, Viejas in Alpine and Sycuan in El Cajon. We have entertained for the casinos and for their tibal events for the families living on the reservations. As well as the families that use our services for their private family parties.
Our clientele consists of many differnt churches, chabads, mosques, etc.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have many events that I am fond of, but I am most proud of and honored to have sent TJ to entertain every year for five years to a New Years Eve Party hosted by the Past President of the United States, Gerald Ford's Son and Daughter in law at which Past President Ford Attended until he passed.
Another event that I (aka Abbie The Clown) am fond of and honord to have been called upon to entertain at was one many years ago when the children of Junior Seau and Gena Seau were very young. TJ (aka Happy Hobo the Clown) and I were called to entertain at Sydney and Jakes birthday parties numerous times.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always ask for references, credits, awards, their skills and talents, and most important do they have liability insurance.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Date, Time, Venue, type of entertainment that they have in mind.
