Mn-S Dj's has been in the business 25 years and is located in So Cal. Mn-S has a large up to date music library from the past 50's.70's,80's hits to todays Top 40,EDM and Latin jams. Mn-S will pay close attention to detail in dj set up,lighting,sound and music. We play what you want and make a custom playlist for your event. Mn-S Dj's use's up to date Pro-Dj equipment from Pioneer,Serato,Numark,Technics,Macki and more. We make sure that your Wedding,Birthday,Office party and private event sounds clean and looks good.
I have a passion for all types of music and cultures and I bring it through my music. I love to see people smile and dance to music that I provide. Ill will sometime's dance behind the dj setup if Im in the zone.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the first contact we set up a meeting to discuss the event. then get a time schedule,playlist and deposit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Im self train on turntable's,Cdj's and sound. I make my own remix's and music production. Im tech savvy with PC's,Mac's and new or old Dj and sound gear. I stay up to date with all my gear and still look for the newest thing, in Uplighting and Music Video's. Music video's is becoming more common in the industry.

My prices are very reasonable to the market. I give discount s to new customers and give a good value for there money.
How did you get started in this business?
Well when I was a kid my mom hired a Dj for a Halloween party in 1986. I saw the way he mixed the music and created different sounds . That was the first time I saw a Dj setup and how he dj used it. Then I started to listen to different mix's on the radio from different radio Djs. I worked on my own mix's by using two boom box radios. One to record a mix from any source and the other one to play or edit. As I got older I got my first turntables ( Belt Drive ) and bought a mixer from Radio Shack I was 16. To this day I still have those mix tapes.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Ive work with all types of client's.,from celebrities customers to the average joe. Ive played at Morongo casino in the lounge to a sweet sixteen in Las Vegas. The most gigs I get is a lot of birthdays and Weddings. But when it get closer to Christmas I get a lot of Holiday parties. Century 21, Hilton hotel and small business of all types.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The one gig I did in Aug is my God daughters Wedding. I showed up 3 hrs early to set up my equipment and covered all the wires and speakers with blk cloth. I detailed my set up with up-lighting in the background to give it some color I dressed it up with white cloth on top of blk background. I set up a mic for the priest and I was all ready to go. I had music playing as the guest wear showing up with an hr to relax.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advice would be get some samples of there work. Like recent pictures,sample of there mixs or videos. Have they done this type of event before? Do you take any request? Do you Mc the event for announcements? Do you have website and how long have you been Djing for?
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I wish that customers would understand how much is involved to set up a basic gig. To carry all equipment to the location and to set up. Make it look nice and sound good. and last break it down at end of the night. Customers just need to value the time it takes like any other pro.
