About
6202 is a band of unique individuals who've come together to create outstanding cover versions of Rock music, as well as a few pieces within other generes, and also to develop relevant original music. 6202 consists of a primary vocalist, lead guitarist, bassist/vocalist, keyboardist, and percussionist. Having a keyboard allows the band to expand the song offering immensely.
We enjoy providing memorable experiences to people. The look on people's faces after an event has gone smoothly, and their guests were thrilled with the event they attended, is the greatest reward. Being a professional and providing a great experience is what leads to word of mouth referrals and recommendations. With this in mind, we give our all and use all my experience to make an event special and memorable.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our approach is simple and straight forward:
- We meet with you to review the details of your event
- We develop a general timeline for your event that you approve and edit as needed and are always flexible during the event to change and move things around as necessary
- We never play inappropriate music unless you specifically direct me to
- We never act in a way that takes attention away from the guest or guests of honor
- We always have backup equipment in the rare case of an equipment problem
- We do our best to work within your budget
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The band members within 6202 have over 100 years of combined experience as professional band members. We've been through every situationa dn expereince imaginiable during that time and can be flexible and adjust however any situation arises.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
There are no standard prices for our services. A lot of factors go into pricing; how far we need to travel, if an event in indoor or outdoor, how many people are attending, how long we will be playing, etc...
How did you get started in this business?
We all started as music students in school and developed to passion to continue playing into adulthood. Each of us played with bands in differnet areas of the country at one time or another, and all ended up together here in Colorado, where we joined forces in 2017.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Generally we work the music venue scene in the greater Denver area, playing at clubs such as The Venue in Denver, Cheers in Northglenn, 20 Mile Tap House in Parker, etc... We've also done several HOA events, corporate events, wedding receptions, and the like.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Most bands cannot function without one of their members. A few months back, due to COVID-19, we had a band member who was unable to take part of a show because of potential exposure from a family member. With such a talented group of musicians, the band was able to keep the scheduled show and operate without the member, while still providing a top quality 4 hour gig. The venue has since reached out to schedule the band again unsolicited, which demonstrates their happiness with that evening. Definitely a proud moment for 6202.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would recommend that a potential client see the band in action, either through a recorded live event, or seeing them in person. Any band these days can record songs that sound good, but seeing them perform live is the true test.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should always ask the following questions:
- Do you use a Service Agreement?
- Do you bring back up equipment?
- Do you create an event timeline?
- Do you coordinate with my other vendors?
