What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introduction and welcoming to my shop, having a thorough conversation about what it is they ate desiring as well as get past history of services already provided, discussions of products that they usecto maintain theircstyle and education of products if need be. Once all of the "technical" portion has been obtained, I want them to relax, feel pampered and either tell me all about their lives or just be still and quiet and enjoy the peace! Completely up to the client!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been licensed since 1994 and continue education through classes offered through the beauty supply locations in the area, as well as many Youtube videos!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do have standard pricing for different services requested, however I do also run in shop specials, have offers through Groupon and there are times when certain situations come into play right when you need to have your hair done, so we can discuss the situations and find something fair and affordable for both sides!
How did you get started in this business?
The beauty industry has always been a passion for me and once I was able to attend, I did! Now my passion had become a hobby for me that I get to do everyday!
What types of customers have you worked with?
My cliente base ranges from children, teens, women, and men (some being military), so experienced with military cuts and flat tops! I work with all hair types and very familiar with wavy to curly hair!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Know what type of stylist they ate seeking and the types of services that they can provide. Confidence in their craft speaks volumes, as well as comfort level with your stylists!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Pictures are a big help and gives ideas as to what you are seeking. Also, how much time do you realistically have to spend in your hair and if considering bangs, always, always be 100% commited because once they are in, the waiting game begins if you should want to grow them back out!
