DJ Chris MAG was an absolutely fantastic DJ.
Here are the reasons we loved working with him for our wedding:
Ahead of time he:
- was easy to communicate with and very responsive
- took thorough notes of our plans/needs
- had great ideas for a playlist that would suit us
- was very transparent with playlist edits/ideas
- demonstrated a broad knowledgebase of music and made excellent suggestions for important songs (last song, cake cutting, modifications to long songs)
- created and shared an editable playlist months in advance for us. (Getting ahead on wedding planning items is such a stress reliever)
- was very professional. He even scheduled a visit to our reception venue ahead of time so he could be prepared and ready the day of our wedding.
Having a DJ be so reliable made our lives much easier while planning, and took a little bit of the load off of our shoulders during the days up to our wedding. This is priceless.
During the event he:
- set up and was ready well ahead of time
- managed the reception timeline and coordinated changes with us AND the wedding coordinator/venue coordinator, AND the parties involved. (Again making our lives much easier on a busy day.)
- ran the show smoothly
- kept the dance party going
- had great equipment (his mics and speakers never screeched/crackled)
- had cool lighting that he customized for us. The ceilings at our reception venue were too low for lasers and strobe lights, instead he setup some classy uplighting.
Chris has very competitive pricing (too low for how awesome he is, imo), and hes a great person to work with. So kind, supportive and courteous. The icing on the cake is that hes a great human, too. When you meet him, ask about all the charity work he does.
We will definitely use him again for our DJ-ing needs, and we will (highly) recommend him to all of our friends and family.
