As a variety dance band that specializes in special events, we offer a wide range of musical styles, superb musicians, and an outstanding band leader who conducts careful interviews with every client so that the band arrives to each engagement thoroughly informed and prepared.
I'm a full-time professional musician! I love working with other talented musicians, and, at the same time, exciting a room full of partygoers. It's a great combination!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I take the initiative to contact my customers to find out just what he/she has in mind for their special event. I make sure to know the nature of the party (wedding, gala, company party, etc), and the kind of music desired. I dig a little deeper to determine if there are any special requests that will create a "spotlight" moment for the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music Performance, college level teaching and bandleading experience, several years performing as a trombonist at Walt Disney World in Orlando, and nearly forty years working as an arranger/composer, trombonist, and bandleader in the DC/BAltimore area.

My band Fresh Air is an 11-piece dance band that covers popular dance hits from many eras, and in many differing styles. Pricing is based on a number of factors such as location, date, number of hours, services to be provided, etc I prefer to quote exact prices upon knowing the details.
