Frequently asked questions

I like to listen to our potential “High Caliber Partner” that’s dreaming of their next event by conducting a discovery call. I want to make sure we are both confident and comfortable with each other. Chemistry is everything in a working relationship as well.

Next steps would be for me to submit a proposal where I provide a high level overview of their idea into a visual outline.

Once we answer all of our future partners questions, we move into confirmation to begin planning the campaign or event of their dreams.

I have a background as a paralegal so I wear my corporate hat as a business professional. I moved into marketing and fell in love because it was very social where I had a chance to see a client’s ideas come to life which helped their brands grow.

I have been working in the experiential event industry for over 13 years and have produced over 1,000+ events. What my experience has taught me is combining my skill sets having worked in the creative space and B2C. I understand the importance  of creating a thoughtful and multi-sensory experience that connects to your audience.

Lastly, I would have to add that I also have a digital marketing certificate so I could become a full stack marketing ninja! I understand how to build offline as well as online components for any event.

I have an hourly rate for consultations for those who simply want to pick my brain. I conduct workshops for those who also want to learn very specific skills for their own brand.

Otherwise, every client and project is very different and it is based on time, location, and total concept.

I have an outline of specific services that I provide and what each step consists of so it is very clear.

I started from the bottom and worked every position I could so I could understand every facet of my industry until I got the power to finally do it on my own.

I have mostly worked with brands from small to large such as local business in the DMV area — Shopkeepers DC, Samasama Art show, Femme Fatale DC, WeWork, DC Startup Week, and thenlarger brands such as — Complex, Champs Sports, Nike, Ford, Land Rover, Gallo Wine, etc.

A client reached out to me with a last minute dilemma for a huge event week in Miami called Art Basel. We had to produce an event that was combined with taking over a 10k sf space and fill it with furniture, art, Nike sneaker launch, and also had a charitable fundraising component. We worked by phone before we headed to Miami and it was one of my proudest moments when the finished result was amazing. Nothing is ever going to be perfect, but we were close to it.

I would suggest that you shop around and have chemistry with the person you will spend a lot of time with or work with. Ask for referrals and work examples so that you feel like it matches what you’re looking for.

I have been through this before and I now follow my own advice. In fact, I don’t accept every client. I have a choice if we are not a fit as well.

I would wait and sit 24 hours before you make a decision.

Then I would ask can you deliver what I’m asking for with the timeline I am given. Then add 7 days and ask for potential costs that could be incurred. 99% of the time, the proposal will not be the final amount so that should be expected. I like to make sure that everything is transparent and if the business is willing to be transparent then you will feel at ease that you can trust them to do their job with integrity.
