I was that little vietnamese girl that you would see sit in the back of her parent's nail salon. The one that would skip with excitement to the front when a customer would ask for help with their color choice. I'd have to say it was one of the best memories of my childhood. Everyone always left with so much joy. Life was so colorful.
I knew it was exactly what I wanted to do and from then, my love for nails grew more than I could ever imagine. My mom thought I was crazy. You see, to my family it was their ONLY way of making ends meet, but for me it was much more than a paycheck. (Although pay is nice 😁)
It wasn't just about the nails either. It was the stories, the friendship, the connections, the laughter, the tears, the creations, the feeling of trust and happiness when someone had been looking so long for a good nail tech, and they tell you "I finally found you." Yeah, that's the best feeling.
