How did you get started in this business?
I always had a passion for arts especially makeup, so I thought to myself why not showcase my talents to make other people feel comfortable about theirselves? Well here I am —I have arrived! You know A lot of people suffer from self esteem issues especially from a societal standpoint. That being said, I wanted to be part of a growing industry that implements the same thoughts I had! In my field of work, I’ve had opportunities to work on news anchors, brides, models, fashion shows, and editorial model glam. So my talent of work can speak for itself.
That was 2021-2022—fast forward, I have been working on new projects for CBM! Those last years I’ve spent gaining knowledge and perfecting my craft, so I am confident to say I’ve learned more about marketing strategies, business 101 ethics and how to *effectively* communicate with other individuals. I am happy as I get ready to endeavor more as the years progress!
I was a freelance makeup artist from the age of 18 until 23. At the age of 24, I then became a professional makeup artist.
I’ve done live interviews with production companies, articles for Canavs Rebel, Voyage ATL, and Subkit. With my years of experience I can conclude that the growth potential of my business will continue to grow because of the passion and commitment I have to succeed in education and connection.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Pharoah's Agnecy was a photoshoot event I did makeup on the models for an upcoming cosmetic Line called "Lady Mac Cosmetics".
I worked alongside Urban Couture for a fashion show called POP ART BASEL based in Atlanta, GA in 2021 where I did makeup for women models and kid models.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When looking to hire a pro, there are a couple of things to look for. First, Make sure their professionalism is top tier. You don't want to work with anyone that doesn't have excellent customer service. Second, they have to understand and listen to your needs and what specifics you desire. Third, punctuality is very important, because it shows respect for your time and also theirs. Last but not least, they have to have a great personality to be around! Make the atmosphere fun and enjoyable for everyone, so it doesn't feel like work for the Pro and feels like pampering for you—the client!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
With any type of service provided there are always risk factors and assessments that you the Pro need to know and also the client! In the beauty industry—one of the top 2 questions I ask are one of the most 2 important questions that should be asked from the professional to the client, which is: What are your desired looks? & Do you have skin conditions or have allergic reactions that they should be fully aware of? These are questions that need to be answered before getting serviced to ensure better understanding from both ends!
