At Explicit Styles is a full service, multi textured salon that specializes in relaxers, braids, amino acid straightening, keratin treatments, hair cutting techniques, balayage, highlights/lowlights, ombre, color melting, weaves/ extensions, micro link, weaves/ extensions, custom wig units, quick weaves, natural hair styling, infused steaming, locs/ loc extensions, special occasion/ bridal services, men grooming and more.

Studying at Hampton University while completing her MBA with a concentration in Finance at Columbia Southern University, she has obtained the foundation to successfully operate a full service hair salon. With a high belief in education and personal reinvention Amaris has a comprehensible vision for her craft as well as for the Explicit Styles brand.

How did you get started in this business?
The Explicit Styles brand was established in 2007 and we officially opened Explicit Styles Salon in 2017. Servicing clients as a licensed professional for 13 years she has worked at facilities that promote healthy hair and cutting edge techniques.
