What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Unlike most of the DJ world, I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Production from the University of Florida. As a communications major, I've learned how to MC properly with clarity, creativity and warmth. The love of it shows at every event!
As a former On-Air Radio DJ and Club DJ I bring a wealth of appropriate and useful music knowledge to your event. My unique credentials and "well-rounded" experience is second to none. Beyond that, I embrace and love ALL music genres, constantly thirsting to learn more.
When called upon, he can even "tastefully" interact, taking events to the next level by assisting beginners in mastering today's popular line dances (or just jump out there for others to follow).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the package, my personal services averages about $200 per hour. I'm at least 50 dollars less per hour than the biggest Chicagoland DJ companies.
I'm not the most expensive. I'm not the cheapest.
You'll see I'm good, really good...just check out my reviews https://www.weddingwire.com/biz/crestline-entertainment-inc-bensenville/47ef9cee7d5a23c1.html
How did you get started in this business?
After having graduating from college with a Bachelors of Science in broadcasting, I saw an opportunity to combine my love as a musician into a profitable hobby as a DJ in night clubs and bars. Soon many were asking me to do private parties and a legend was born.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Many types of people from all walks of life. I love the chance to broaden my music knowledge across all music genres and ethnicities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Small events that require not only the ability to motivate guests with the right blend of music, but also needs needs some tasteful DJ interaction to help instigate dancing.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look carefully and try not to be too concerned about price. While no one wants to overpay for mediocre services, a great DJ with the right know-how and personality is an investment in an event, not a liability.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Not all 5 star reviews are the same. Consider the difference between fast-food restaurant vs a quality dining establishment. While they may both have 5 star ratings, be sure to make accurate comparisons when choosing your DJ entertainment.
